Stars have conjured some miracle to go from 0-5 to getting 4th spot with a round to go. Destiny is in their own hands pretty much now.

If Thunder win too Hobart would secure top and would likely rest guys in that last game against The Stars given their injuries.

When the Sixers/Thunder derby is rained out tomorrow the Stars will be playing a Canes side with top spot sewn up at the MCG.

The way this Hobart Hurricanes team playing, I dont think they will take the Stars lightly. Think there is a bit of motivation for them to win a title ahead of another team that has yet to taste success in the BBL yet.

They'd be foolish to play Wade, McDermott, Meredith and Jordan if they had any niggles. Meredith probably rested management regardless.

Will be interesting. With Owen, Chaudhary and David they’ve probably got enough as a fifth bowler package. But Jordan and Ellis aren’t really new ball options with Stanlake out.

I think they’ve got enough batting to play Bean and he doesn’t really need to bowl his overs and you can steal overs elsewhere if need be. Wade 6, David 7, Jordan 8 seems like overkill
