Is it possible/probable that Keane has been encouraged to play with more aggression by the coach ?
Imo it's his natural make-up.

OoohKaye.. so you're happy with crows players taking each other out this season. Copy. That. 😔👌
BTW, was Worrell who took out Welsh... but can't really avoid these scenarios if practising for the real stuff.

That’s just playing hard, not Taking each other out don’t be so dramatic
I was replying to cmndstab post about Keane & Murray potentially "Hurting" the opposition.
I'm more than happy if they do..
I just don't want them taking each other out (between 16.3.25 - 27.9.25)
Happy Saturday Night🍻

Bigman, I have a question re Taylor. To me he is a natural footballer who has time, space, poise and sees things in slow motion etc. He would be in my 22 everyday of the week as I would be getting as many games as possible into him. My query is he seems to be 'B' team in the eyes of the coaches. Is this around his numbers during preseason? Does he blow up during match sim or he is just one of those players who doesn't test well but he can just football when he is on the field? Would appreciate your thoughts. Cheers.

Interesting. Any particular reason you think it's a weakness?

Statistically its a bit of a nothing stat. Brisbane was #2. Sydney and GWS were #15 and #16 respectively (both lower than us). We also had similar numbers in allowed I50's to Sydney and GWS.
Don’t get me wrong , I love our defence and it’s also very young and developing

But re our intercept marking - not a strength

I think it’s got the ability to be one so I think it’s a decent area of improvement that can help us

Pretty important part of game , if you look at Sydney it’s definitely not a strength of their list but they don’t need it to be as prob have the best midfield in the comp

I’m getting more confident about our midfield but it’s still a work in progress so we need strings to our bow re ‘score sources ‘

It things continue as they finished last year I expect Mark Keane to be a top 10 intercept defender or close to for 2025
as our defence matures.

For year 2024 he was our best @24 in the league, our only one in the top 40 !!!
In the last 10 games however Keane was rated No 14 in the league.

Massive upside as an interceptor, natural part of his game.
