Can anyone confirm Didak's contract status? I thought he was contracted for 2008.

He is contracted for next year and has committed himself to the club publicly and with his pledge to commit to a re-structured contract after his mishap this year. The 'go home' factor is non-existant, if it were true he would have been traded a few years ago for Nick Stevens.

I'd suggest that you'd get Pick 10 and a Ruckman (Meeson) from the Crows. Not a great deal but perhaps tempting given the off field grief he has put the club through

Yeah im pretty sure that he is contracted till end of 08. But concidering past happening they might bring it foward. These days contracts aint cemented. Anything could happen

The rumour has been sparked by one of Didak's 'mates' who phoned 5AA on Saturday morning. The caller said he spoke with Didak a couple of weeks ago and he has had enough of Melbourne and wants to return home. Caller went on to say that Didak does not want to go to Port and would prefer a trade to the crows.

Hasn't Craig come out and said that the Crows need key position players (especially forwards). They are fine with their running brigade.
So why would they want Didak when they would have to give up so much to get him in a trade.
Better for them to keep their tradebait players (Meesen etc) / high picks and go for a CHF / FF

If he wanted an 'out' he could have taken it when Eddie/the club offered it after his off-field drama this year.
