Spooky!

I saw em at 2007 BDO, it was nuts, really thought the crowd was gonna lose it.
Pretty sure it was 2008. I remember watching the RaTM crowd try and figure out Bjork. They went from wtf is this to loving her. As they should because she was excellent.

Dethklok is the band and the bass player, William Murderface, is my avatar!

I always assumed it was a cartoon of Leigh Matthews from back in the day. I thought your username and avatar matched up really well! you'd have to be pretty sick to be a Lethal fan down at Geelong!

Bjork is mad live.

I'll trust you there, sounds right. That's the great thing about festivals, seeing bands you'd never normally watch, sometimes you love it and sometimes you hate it, it's all good. I remember seeing Chicks on Speed at a BDO, didn't know what to make of them but ended up really enjoying it.

This song is kind of dumb but kind of awesome. "We like to use gaffa tape but we don't play guitars", yep why not!

Haha! They might have indeed modelled Murderface on Matthews!

Stone Roses at Future Music is my number one festival gig by a mile. With all the hype about the Oasis tour, the Roses played at sundown in Bonython Park in front of about 2000 people and it was amazing.

man I wonder how long it'll be before they go at each other's throats.. those Oasis boys can be funny sometimes lol

1993 Big Day Out tour featured Nirvana didn't it?
That was 1992 in Sydney and yours truly was there.

I think it was 15 BDOs I attended. I took a break for a while in the latter 90s but when The Stooges were playing the BDO I came back to the fold and I think I went to every other year from then.

Ministry in 1995 were the best headliner - still the most powerful band I've ever witnessed live. They were even better the following night at Selinas.

The Stone Roses boys are pretty good at hating each other. Have hung out a couple of times with Mani - half the band weren't on speaking terms and there had been fisticuffs.

My favourite rock festival was the one I went to in Portugal back in 2000 , every one was stoned, it was a Portuguese Woodstock.

Beck was the highlight, Devils Haircut went on for like half an hour at least.

I did Soundwave in 2013(?), the year Metallica closed out alongside The Offspring from memory.

Great times.

I actually bought my ticket off someone on BigFooty, can’t remember their username though, and from memory it was on the previous website, before we changed to this domain.

Rage Against the Machine at a 90s BDO was the craziest mosh pit I ever saw. No way was I going near that.
Sepultura on the Chaos AD tour
i lasted ten mins in the pit
I went to two, 1997 and 1998. I went to 1997 to see Brazilian metal heroes Sepultura but frontman Max Cavaleras broke his leg somehow and the band cancelled. We got Fear Factory instead. They were good, but I wanted Sepultura damnit!!
Max did his knee i think
at least fear factory was a good replacement, love FF

Still the best Britain band since the Beatles.

Let me put you in the picture. let me you show you what I mean, the messiah is my sister, ain't no king man she's my queen.

The Stone Roses second coming album was a long time coming but their first single off their comeback album was a balltearer.

I saw Beck a couple of years ago at Harvest Rock. He was brilliant. Very charismatic and Where it's At was my highlight.
