I can’t remember where I read it, it was decades ago but there was a study showing that improving your skills on your non-dominant side had the curious affect of improving your skills in your dominant side as well.I was at a talk by Kevin Sheedy in the early 90s. Said any young player that came to Essendon worked on skills from day one. They used to do both sides and by hand and by foot. Improved dramatically. He said it took at least a 1000 hours of practice to improve kicking or handballing
His comment was if they had the right attitude he could improve anyone
Wish we worked on these things now
What he actually offers is the ability to play tough and soften up the opposition ruckman , hopefully allowing TDK to jump all over them by the end of the day.Respect your opinion, but no thanks.
Pitto is only good as the number one ruck and he's no longer the number one ruck. As a second ruck, he offer nothing as a marking target around the ground and nothing if resting up forward. He just takes away a bench rotation.
Bloody hope soReckon our season starts this weekend.
Seems obvious eh? And Walshy too.I think Ollie plays with desperation, he looks hungry to me the way he fights, I would love some bigger guys like Gov and co to show half Ollies fight. My issue with Ollie is that he is too slight to have around the contest that is only amplified in contests in our back line. He gets stripped and tackled too easily. He needs to be in space on a wing before we ruin his confidence. If 4 weeks in the VFL though can fix his lack of awareness when he is being chased, I am all for it.

Sorry to hear that you were sent to boarding school. I hope you're getting over it.I know my foot skills improved a lot when I went to boarding school and we never had a football out of our hands -
Opinion or it’s happened.Tim Kelly dropped this week

These are Cripps basic efficiency stats
Are there any other ways to gauge if he’s improved?
Two game headstart to 8th place. Let's go!Reckon our season starts this weekend.
Yeah looks alright on paper,Strong side
This is one of Voss’ flaws. Holds on too tight.Last chance McGovern, Docherty, Motlop and Acres. Creeping up on them are the kids, Boyd, Campos (x2), EHollands, Binns, O’Farrell and Wilson. Plus a few coming back Pitto, Fantasia, and Cotterell.
If it was up to me I’d be playing Boyd and Lucas this week v west coast but Voss can’t afford to lose this game as his coaching career is on the line.
