Really disappointed with some of the outs and no senior players held accountable foe inconsistent form by being dropped.

Smacks of a coach trying to save face rather than truly make an example and set clear and strong standards. Instead the kids get the chop.

Elijah better off as the sub than an emergency too.

Dropping Lord just to bring him back on Good Friday is a bit on the nose.

Leadership group I’d suggest

Cripps Walsh Weiters would all have a say
I'd love to know if team selection was a democratic voting situation, fringe members contributing opinions or does 1 or 2 individuals have an over-riding control?

Lord obviously got too many score involvements last week.
We don’t want to score.

Cerra is on notice.

This is because Voss is useless. He can't play more mid types because he has no structure. He won't push them forward at times. In a proper structure Walsh Cripps Lord Cerra Hewett can all go forward

Look at Hawks. Play more mids and teach them how to go forward at times. Day Worpel Newcombe Nash McKenzie Ward etc all go forward at times and rotate. Structure and game style

McQualters job doesn’t rely on wins yet. That’s why. Voss loses this and he’s likely gone. He clearly trusts the 23 he’s put on paper
Which is one of the reasons we’re unsuccessful.

Blind faith in players who don’t rock up every week.
Or in the case of Docherty and McGovern, don’t rock up any week (this year).

Honestly think the biggest issue with Doc and McGovern is a lack of confidence.
I would have dropped both of them - but there’s never a better chance to regain confidence than a game against the Eagles away from Perth.
Gov maybe, Doc looks physically cooked.

Though I'm starting to think Gov is mentally cooked...

Four changes but no change.

When was the last time we made a senior player accountable?
Voss hasn't got the guts to make a big statement. Some of these senior players don't deserve a position in the team. There's still a problem with Voss and his MC with selection integrity. When is it going to change?

Cerra was clearly better, stats or by eye

Lord is only a mid, he struggled resting forward early rounds.

All our mids don't really have forward traits, apart from say Cerra or Hewett to some degree

The only mid/forward on our list is Elijah

I know Cerra was better. He was the only player on our team to have more score involvements than Lord last week.
Which is why he’s on notice.

The ‘mid’ who should go out is Doc. He was putrid last week. Got more of the ball, used it a lot worse. Aside from the times he chose not to go.
