The Lions game was before the Oscar Allen news broke, I think? If so, the morale at WC looks like it has left the building. But agree that we are in no position to think of this game as a training drill. They just had the worst contested possession count of all time so I imagine they’ll come out very hot. Would hope we match them.
Our biggest win in the Scott tenure was his first game by 59 points against the Hawks. Would love to eclipse that with this game. But they only lost to Brisbane by 3 goals a few weeks ago and if you’re a little off, even WC can damage you.
You could pull a table out, coupla deck chairs and a cabana with a margarita machine and a contract for harls in the middle of Optus on Friday night and still have enough room to stroll into f50 unopposed from bounce down with our useless mob.No point flying back to Melbourne, keep heading west and book a team meeting with Reid on Tuesday.

Yes. Four quarters.
Much rather wright in than Goldy but I'm concerned they might go the other way
Langers any chance?
He’ll be back for Anzac DayLangers any chance?
In Goldstein
Out Bryan
Goldstein has been one of our best vfl players so far and with setterfield was best against Werribee.
I worry about our lack of speed with setterfield and Hobbs both playing
assuming it'll be hot to, the 40 year old won't have travelling to the other side of the country on his 2025 bingo cardWce are basically playing without a ruck, no need to break the glass on Goldy this week
If Brad is committed to Draper as the preferred fwd/ruck Goldstein will play.assuming it'll be hot to, the 40 year old won't have travelling to the other side of the country on his 2025 bingo card
- 2 Acedmey kids trained with us in...I fear this will be the same problem if they bring in Wright they will be tempted to just bomb it in his direction. We finally had some good movement in the forward line but I can't see any decent pinch hitters on field that can at least neutralise the ruck contest. I personally think Tsatas will be a bigger more effective version of Hobbs and can't see them both being played in the same team with both having similar weaknesses. If Brad is committed to Draper as the preferred fwd/ruck Goldstein will play.
I hope not. I liked that we were trying to hit up targets in the forward line rather than trying to bomb it onto Draper’s head.

Wright & Tsatas in
Bryan & Hobbs out
Yeah it seems like one of the mids will be subHobbs just played one of his best games, can't see him being dropped off the back of that.
I'd keep it simple, go in with Draper as the sole ruck and Jones can chop out as needed. No real injuries other than Bryan so could bring in Tsatas (but think we're one midfielder too heavy with Setterfield already there) or give a guy like Johnson or ADW a debut.
Yeah he definitely had a cracking game. Just think in the long run Tsatas will offer more, together I think their disposal is too below average, you wouldn't want them dishing it out to each other. Interesting to see how they go with it. I think at the least Scott will go Wright for Bryan, loves his talls too much.Hobbs just played one of his best games, can't see him being dropped off the back of that.
