Given that Zerk-Thatcher is still 3 weeks away and Burton about the same and we have won the last two I would say Richards in for Atkins is about right. Unless of course there are no injuries at training.

Tommy should stay because he’s playing the toughest position on the ground to stay in the game in and he’s not learning what he needs to know in the SANFL.

All of Tom’s possessions looked quality even if they didn’t come off. He makes good decisions.

His shot for goal on the boundary I didn’t doubt was going through.

He’s a quality long term player with athletic ability no likely replacement has.

Just leave him a few games.

Things I really like about him: he's hard at the contest (already), has some smarts around the ball, seems to finish his work infront of goal and make the most of his opportunities (small sample size).

Worth persisting with at AFL level.

Normally I’d say BZT would have to come back via the SANFL, but it’s North Melbourne, probably easier for him to get guided through 2 1/2 quarters (then subbed out for Lai) with Aliir and Ratugolea instead of getting smashed vs Centrals away with Walsh and Kyle Marshall.

He’s also the only AFL listed mid getting good minutes in the SANFL. Lorenz has been pushed out to the wing. You would hope we are doing that with the aim to play him this year.

The appallingly inconsistent umpiring against Sweet compared to his opponent in recent weeks has left him second guessing what he can and can’t do and his form has dipped as a result. I’d love to also blame Lobbe so I will throw that in for good measure.
