I think we’ll be a better team in the second half of the year when we get our injuries back and our fixture eases up (we’ve played a rough fixture so far) so making finals will be down to us staying as close to even in terms of wins and losses til just before the bye. Tough to do from here given our next few games will be hard work but I think we’ve got a realistic shot to do it.

Paul Roos came out today and just pasted the Swans saying we were playing “Harlem Globe Trotter football”.
Last time I checked Harlem Globe Trotters were entertaining. That was certainly not entertaining last week.

He was actually referring to the fact that we laid 19 tackles, which he is right to point out, it was absolutely appalling and un-Sydney like.

Good take, we are in limbo atm, I feel like we are at a cross road, we could go on a run, or end up with pick 3 or 4 in the draft.

If we did get a high pick plus academy guys and then get Mills Gulden Papley etc fit maybe a down year wouldn't be the worst thing in a perverse way .

I wish we were playing Harlem Globetrotters footy. We’d be winning

Roos also mentioned that if you stop Heeney and Warner, especially Heeney, then you stop the Swans. With a full list, I would add Gulden and Papley. Unhealthy reliance on too few.

I mean, couldn't you say that about any team and its best players?

He said it about the Swans.
The best qualified person to comment n anything Swans.

Er, ok, and I'm saying it's not a Swans specific issue.

Why is McGowan the best qualified person to comment on anything Swans? As I was responding to his take.

About that...

McGowan in no way is the best qualified. Talking about Paul Roos I believe.
I understand but I was responding to your add on.
