No dig at cats fans but would it be safe to suggest Geelong won’t make top 4 now? Two games behind technically with GC with a game in hand.

Haven't played WCE, Tigers or North yet

Depends a lot on the Dogs game. We’ve played Brisbane, Collingwood, Hawthorn, Giants, Adelaide. We have Port away next week which is a bit 50-50 with how depleted our defence is. Draw opens up a bit in about 3 weeks.

The Giants best is good enough, deserved it today, their marking power is enormous. Hats off to Hogan and Taylor. Saw them live in Canberra 2 weeks ago, they looked ordinary. Different team today.
Id go alright without Stewart, Henry and Kolo too

Not sure if it’s just us or I just notice it more because it’s my team, and it’s actually all teams that do it, but gee we seem to over-commit players to opponents who are already ‘taken care of’ when the ball is in dispute.

Ie. there’s a stoppage or the ball gets kicked to a contest, it’s on the ground, an opponent might get to it first but there’s no way they can have time to direct a clean kick or hand pass to a teammate because they’re more or less tackled or pressured, but another player goes in to try and assist anyway instead of looking after a possible recipient of the random ‘get out desperation flick out’ and suddenly they are away in clear space.

They’re trying to do the right thing but all it does is allow the opposition extra players and time and space and almost invariably they’ll create a scoring opportunity out of it
