Why the heck not try Lloyd in a forward pocket or something rather than slowing us down on the bloody wing for a change

I’d rather try him in the VFL

We win if Lloyd only touches it 10 times here is hoping

Sort of, we just need him getting in effective ways, up the ground and even near goal where he is quite good

Is it? I guess Cox is worried about the 0 Carlton rucks

I'd like Hamling back Blakey midfield please

Amartey is at least a forward, Francis can get in the bin

We somehow need two rucks to mark the great Mark Pittonet lol

If he took a crucial mark against Port in the goal square and slotted that goal against the Bombers last week in crunch time who knows what would have happened.

Not saying we would have won the game since we were 2 goals down in both situations but needed to take those opportunities so I'm not surprised.

Him not touching the ball= quick ball movement

As stupid as it would have been on 0 form and fitness I have to admit a small
part of me would just like Mills and Adams in

I would have played Adams but no to mills

If you're dropping mclean then you have to bring in ladhams for 2nd ruck cover. Maybe they're also worried about Grundy with short turnaround?

If it's raining or wet I hope hanily comes in for hamling or Francis.

Won't be raining.
Drying SW wind after 4pm.

The following players give me indigestion:

Hayward
Florent
Campbell
Jordon
McInerney
Roberts
Lloyd

I have no idea what these players are supposed to be doing, where they're supposed to be getting it, how they're supposed to be playing. They just float around doing I don't even know what half the time.

Well,

IN: Amartey and Ladhams

OUT; McLean and Paton

Some sense. I don't like players coming in early either but we basically have no choice.

Didn't expect McLean to be the one to go but with Amartey back and Ladhams the one player actually doing OK at VFL level it makes sense.

At least Sheldrick is in the Starting 18. Doesn't insulate him from being the sub but does make it less likely. The brave call to be the sub would be Florent, though if forced to call I'd still expect Warner to be the sub instead. With Mills and Adams close to returning a bunch of smalls are under pressure now.

I feel McLean a little stiff to be dropped but Ladhams has been great in the VFL and deserves a start. McLean is the most like for like.
