I also wouldn't be surprised if it was kmac2 since that was the plan last week, but with banks still lined up on the hbf, and short was only listed on the bench iirc, I'm guessing it'll be kaleb smith as the sub

which is a shit position for the lad, coming off a bye, and 31 touches before that, only to be listed as the sub, and then the week after you've been a sub you've only played 1 qtr of footy so unlikely you'll get a call up on form for a while. but even then I feel like he's up against it anyway because we've got a bunch of experienced players who can swap to hbf and short won't be out long

Well North are also about 5 years more into a rebuild than us too, but i think that club has bigger issues bubbling underneath.

This game might be seen as their "Grand Final", but this is also a club that has looked like its about to self destruct. And Richmond supporters of the last 40 years should know, these are the exact type of games that clubs that have huge fundamental underlying issues lose - because they know the pressure is on. I don't think Clarkson has the playing group tbh. Spent a bit of time on the North board (they are a great bunch of peeps over there) & the way their supporters are talking, they see it too.

If we lose, its no disaster for us. For them it will be. And a draw against the Lions and a close loss against Port might give them a false sense of comfort. Our boys are up and about, good atmostphere & they have the smell of death

Had a cats fan tell me Vlastuin is a clear tier below Stewart, pointing towards his 5 AAs, and they said Stewart is generational and matches up with Rance in quality. Anyone know if there is anywhere to see past players career averages for stats? I'd like to see Rance's, because I think everyone was in agreement at the time that he was the best defender in the competition, and you can't say that about Stewart

Stewart plays as the spare a lot. Rance did that while still standing an opponent. Stewart's a fine player, but he's not in the same class as Rance. There's a lot more than just being the intercept man. Does Stewart even play on an opponent?

And no, knocking out unsuspecting smaller opponents doesn't count.
