Did well to still be a goal in front. Felt like they threw everything at us.

We need to make an adjustment, it seems it is too slippery to play our normal style, not sure playing straight line footy would work either though.

Chapman is taking men on and getting caught too often recently. That awkward looking style he has of extending his arms full length and lifting it over the opposition tackler to release the ball is going to get found out at this level especially against high pressure sides. These turnovers are so damaging in close games.

It was bouncing out of our fwd 50 way too easily, going too quickly to outnumbered forwards.
If we want to go to an outnumber, better to at least slow the kick in down and get numbers forward and press the defence up, other wise it comes out quickly through the space.
Effort has been strong, especially from the mids.

The umpires are told how much time is remaining in the quarter??? WTF??
What absolute bollocks, no wonder the umpiring is so variable towards the end of each quarter every week, that is just garbage, no on field official should have one clue how much time remains in a quarter until the timekeeper blows the siren for that quarter.
Just ridiculously stupid and encourages variable umpiring, next thing umpires will be being told how many possessions or tackles a certain player has during the game - just invites the same sort of betting risks that we have seen unfold in cricket and other sports.
As far as I know, all other levels of AFL umpiring (and league and union) insist on separate timekeeping and umpiring roles specifically so the umpires have no clue about time remaining.
For once, I would love someone to prove me wrong and that we didn't just hear the umpires on the gameday audio feed tell each other there was 20 seconds left in the quarter. Surely that isn't happening?
