Geelong destroyed us at home as massive underdogs in a Qualifying Final without Tom Stewart, Tom Hawkins, Cam Guthrie as key figures of their recent past.

Brisbane overcame a handful of ACL’s, a slow start to the season (were 13th when they rolled into town for the Boo Bowl), and a 7-goal third quarter deficit in an away semi to win 4 finals in-a-row and their first flag in 21 years.

At Hinkley’s Port it’s like we actively excuse and crave failure before the first bounce.

‘Finals are scary’. ‘Welp, we had a few injuries’.

And we’re supposed to be grateful for this cancer that has happily rotted away the club’s culture for a decade. Nauseating.
