Gee I missed out, got it well wrong . We are currently 15th and will not go higher.

Have either 3 or 4 games to play against the Dees, Tigers and Eagles. Think we won't beat the Eagle in WA. So will depend on how the games go between the Eagles, Tigers and Dees

I'm now thinking we will finish 16th with four wins. Lol

I think you might be a bit punch drunk from the last few years.

We should be significantly better than last year. Our best players are all moving towards their prime years and we have brought in some handy experience. This improves our depth and means we aren't fielding VFL standard players as often. In round 1 last year we had Lazarro, Pink and Fisher in the team. They have been upgraded to Parker, Darling and Daniel. It should make a huge difference.

We have an AA full forward, AA squad ruck, AA squad mid/fwd and just brought in three premiership players who have also been AA.

We have multiple high picks like McKercher, Wardlaw, Duursma and FOS who should be AA at some point in their career.

LDU as well.

This alone means a bottom 4 finish is unacceptable. I think we will finish just outside the eight.

I won't be surprised if we make the eight either.

SHORT SUMMARY OF SEASON. Think we will be a lot closer in a lot of games, not many blow outs and we will beat one good team but can't see many more wins. Wins to come against Richmond x 2, Melbourne, Gold Coast and Adelaide in the last round

ALL AUST: No one in 44 man squad

DOES FOS PLACE IN RISING STAR: Plays 4 games and is nowhere near ready. Talks of being “not happy”.

TOP 3 LEADING GOAL KICKERS: Darling, Larkey, Cam

DOES CHOM PLAY FWD/BACK: Doesnt play.

IS DURZ LOCKED BEST 22 COME SEASONS END: Nowhere near it.

WHO HAS THE BETTER YEAR OUT OF SHEEZ, WARLORD, KERCH: Sheez. Warlord and kerch underwhelming seasons.

SHORT SUMMARY OF SEASON: Same shit. North in trouble. Joke of the competition. Richmond finish with 3 wins. North take the spoon.

Looking back at this at the halfway mark Im not that far off even though I was taking much of the piss.

But I will come out and say that we are all going to be very happy by seasons end. My bowel movements have confirmed that we will finish strong. We will allo be eager to start the 2026 season and its going to be a hell of an off season.

not 3 or less but 3 to 7 was my tip, so i guess 3 would satisfy both criteria, iam sure not bullish on next season, especially when we need to shore up defenders and we have a very poor draft hand.

SUMMARY OF SEASON: I’m going to spend a month or so around April just casually roasting everyone who criticised the Daniels recruitment.

There are some rippers in the predictions thread....some people were way too optimistic. A couple were close to the mark.

Well well well shimaburnsgrieg, I'm really sorry that you feel that way, I did get a few wrong didn't I, and my summary was a ways off, been wrong plenty of times and I can guarantee you It probably wont be the last time! However, I do call it the way that I see it, obviously injuries/lack of killer instinct in the last 10 minutes of game time/confidence and not enough senior players at times helping the joeys out are factors but at the end of the day we have to get better and the easy way of improving all of these stats is to win, plain and simple.

And just to add a bit more to this imagine being a Blues Power or Bomber supporter just to name 3 They have been a lot more disappointing than us in many ways at least we have a plan regardless of what the usual posters think on here Lets just see where we are in 2 years time compared to them 3.

Come on Uncle, I wasn't THAT far off! Fluke a win this weekend for a total of 5.5 and my prediction of 7 is reasonable. The rest is pretty much spot on I would have thought!
