Walker is one of the only defenders who can run with PapleyStarting to think it’ll be Walker in for Fyfe.
No one else knocking the door down to force into a side with 6 wins in a row.

Toby Greene's comments during the week are quite damning tbh.IN: long cleats

JOM unfortunately isn’t fit.JL loves to play a bigger body on Heeney, so JOM is a huge chance. Really want Walker back to play on Papley.
Sounds like Walker trained with the WAFL group, so it doesn't seem likely that he's back.So Jom, Walker and Pearce might all be a chance this weekend.
I reckon they will come in for Omac, Fyfe and Banfield (seriously unlucky)
The metal studs thing is interesting... in my experience playing rugby and Aussie rules, metal studs are much less likely to pick up a sharp burr that can cut than plastic studs. You really have to keep an eye on the plastic ones. I wore metal studs playing summer rugby in North America because the grounds were so hard that plastic studs or moulded boots didn't give the purchase for scrummaging; only the metal studs could actually get through the hard top surface. Never had one pick up a sharp edge! And that was back when stomping on people was legal in rugby....Toby Greene's comments during the week are quite damning tbh.
Yes he shouldn't be wearing metal studs but to go out his way to change them because he thought the SCG surface was shite is quite alarming not to mention risk a massive fine to do so.
Love it how London gets flak for raining so much.. yet Sydney it rains heavily in summer, winter, spring no matter what the bloody season it is.
Summer is actually worse. 34 degrees with monsoon rain is disgustingly humid.

And Mills running through there as well.It will be a tough game this one. If you line the midfields up then pound for pound you'd say they have us covered with Grundy, Warner, Gulden, Heaney and Rowebottom. (Let's be honest, that's one of the better midfields in the comp.)
What I'm hoping is that we have them covered around the ground, so we lose the midfield battle and win the war.....a bit like the Saints I guess.
Need Walker in tbh.Need somebody to step up and provide Clark's run and dash as Jordon will be all over him.
Nothing like the Saints though in terms of blocking and scragging. Rowbottom is the only defensive mid in there. The others all want to run off. Sheldrick is the closest to how Rowbottom plays. It will be a tough game this one. Add Jackson into that mix while Darcy is in the ruck, I’d like to see Jackson line up on Heeney at stappaoges.Nothing like the Saints though in terms of blocking and scragging. The real key is our 4,5,6,7 mids. Johnson, NOD, Bolton, Erasmus, Wagner. They all need to compete hard and over 4 quarters.
5 bench players for the game (sub included) and the 3 emergencies.8 on the extended bench? That’s not usual is it?
Oh yeah, makes sense. Must just be that I haven’t been able to count all these years5 bench players for the game (sub included) and the 3 emergencies.
