Impressive on Darcy but late when he went into the ruck was just as impressive. Won all 3 ruck contests he was in. Was almost X like whilst in there. Defender and a back up Ruck?

Defenders shouldn’t be rotated into the ruck as a set plan. Would throw the defence off too much

I recently had a chat to one of our coaches and the club see him becoming a forward/ruck which I thought was interesting.

i watched a game in the vfl a few weeks back we he kicked 3 goals and was very impressive playing as a forward,set shot looked very sound and is long and direct,maybe in general play his kicking can be wayward but when has time as in a set shot i see no problem.Was also leading out hard and direct,reminded me of a young jonathon brown.

Still angry at that. There seems to be a NMFC-specific rule against tackling too hard. Curtis will suffer for it for years!

Imagine if Daicos tackled like that and had a free kick payed against.

Was brutal. I almost half expected the corrupt maggots last night to pay a free kick against him for being too rough such was the way they were very trigger happy to give the dogs frees..

The Sheezel deliberate and the holding the ball against 'Claiming 5' (I think) in the centre of the ground were the real low points of the Gang Bang we received last night!

I don't begrudge the Doggies anything, good on them and hope they Win it all. But sake, the two sets of rules and the lack of prior afforded us were nothing short of diabolical cheating.

Should not be anywhere near a forward line of any team he plays in ever again.

He is our full back for the next 12 years.

I agree in principle, but I wouldn't mind him swinging forward late in games if needed as he will be an incredibly difficult match up with his height and power.

Cats trailed that approach a few years ago with Blicavs. Definitely mixed results.

lol, it's true. Probably up forward like his man on occasion. Loved old man Arch up forward in '93/'94/'95.... can't recall him doing it much later

We all talk about little wins especially when we have been at the bottom.for so long. But this is our little win from last night. Dawson is huge ad could be the piller defender we have been crying out for. Will, pink and Charlie is actually a very good trio combo if they all continue to develop together with continuity.
