Kozi is the best option to keep forward structure, take the biggest defender and assist the kids.
All he has to do is contest and encourage the kids and not lose his shit and give away frees.
And his pretty much bottom of our KPD list so don't need to worry about what throwing him forward does for his development.

Looks like Trezise probably gets the vest this week. With 7 other defenders and two wings named on field, he doesn't really have a spot.

I would have preferred we slot him in on a wing ahead of Kmac, but the rest of the changes are pretty good.

happy that Young and Trezise get the nod of approval after some good footy at VFL level.
Shorts experience will be a plus..

Kosi was actually pretty decent after returning to the team in 2024 mid-year. Keeping in mind we won the spoon.

Kosi’s last 10 games he averaged 10.5 disposals, 3.5 marks and a goal a game. As well as playing some back-up ruck. He was also creating good contests.

He wasn’t great, but he pulled his weight and played his role …. if he produces those sort of numbers we will be very satisfied.

Richmond will play its ninth debutant of the season after Taj Hotton was named to play against Essendon.

Hotton was a top five fancy in last year’s draft before tearing his ACL and has played three VFL games since returning from the rehabilitation group.

Go back and watch the replay and you’ll see why. in at least 2 or 3 contests you could noticeably see short steps when he was about to get front on contact and I think that’s why he’s been dropped. It looked bad.

kosi marking has improved and he now has enough tiger games under his belt to know whats required of him he is our 2nd best crash- packer behind lynch. rapt he's in.

I can't wait to see the crap little ones run rings around our defense. Wright will score 6, Kaka will score 3, and a debutant will score 4, earning Man of the Match. As predicted, Short straight in, Hotton hopes he doesn't try too hard to impress and do something, Fonz? Kozzi ?Macca? Is this the rebuild? Sims has done stuff all last 6 games and one in the VFL Hum once again, Blight the scapegoat, and Green wasn't the worst.
