100 Year Limp Celebrations

Look mate this club has been not only an Australian Football Joke but an Australian Sporting Joke for the last 5 years.
I have seen this club fall apart thru stupid decision making from all areas from Board Level to the performances on the field.
Yet we have people at this club shove the BS spin down the supporters throats with the attitude All is well it’s f:cking not as we have been surpassed in all areas of this sport.
I sat thru that embarrassing 100th Anniversary game with 25K where as a club we were railroaded in a 13 minute show which was way to short .
The planning for this game should have started last year by getting members involved with this celebration.
The supporters that stick fat by this club would have helped out just like when we did by raising $$$$ for future building works .
If the club had done this we could have had dinners for all involved people and more time for match day celebrations.
To say I hate this club yes I do in many ways I do as people who have been put in charge continue to do a job with the knowledge their are protected and won’t be sacked which makes me angry as a supporter.
I don’t know or care what others think of me but I’m sick and tired of people at the NMFC who take the attitude we are a successful club on and of the field.
Wake up time to get back the Shinboner Spirit and get rid of the Woke Empire garbage from our club.
A real club would make the ruthless changes but for some reason we frightened to do so.

It’s a TV time slot, not a fan friendly time slot.

I’m not a Sonja basher and in fact think she’s been an asset to the Club - and I’m not even suggesting it was her idea - however, her sitting in the photo of the “living legends” doesn’t get any less jarring with each viewing of the ceremony.

Commercial aspects of this club have been shithouse this year.

$200 for an interstate membership, gets access to one game in your state when we were in SA 3 times in the first 7 weeks.

Then you can buy a three game membership for $9 when LDU re-signed.

I’m sure plenty of others have had problems with how the operations side of the club have rolled out the carpet this year.

As a person who's currently serving in her capacity she shouldn't have been in the photo. Her story isn't finished yet and her achievements to date haven't been significant. Same reason I was perplexed by Luke McDonald being in the photo although as a past-captain, 200 gamer and B&F winner I get that a bit more as his achievements are tangible.

But at the same time, it's still a great photo and not a huge issue IMO.

Saw the snippet of ex players talking about their favourite game and many said the * Final

So I went back and watched it

For all that teams flaws they were pretty bloody good on that night.

They would smash our current team head to head

Then I watched the 2019 v * game where Tippa kicked that goal and i thought how the **** did we fall off the cliff since? (I don’t need the answers thanks in advance)

On another note, I noticed yesterday at Arden St, a sign on the fence surrounding the ground, thanking persons who donated towards the re-surfacing of the ground.

Eugene Aroca was listed.

Seems good enough to accept his donation, but not good enough to be included for celebrations of our 100th year in the competition.

Nevermind his more significant contributions to our history and existence.

I know he continues to support from afar. You couldn’t put him on a higher pedestal.
