Lacking one tall down back thats all.
Be a good game this.
Freo are really good decent team as well.
Like the crows its normally a battle v freo and close all the time.
I dont mind freo but feeling mcg and the pies might be overalled by it too much.
freo are a handy team.
To me this is a must win for the Pies.
Bounce back and bounce back hard.
No screwing rope doping around now.
Back to hard work it starts now.
Always feels this is the hardest time of year as well.
Hard grind.
I think it will be a hard grind of a game as well.
Weather a few showers and cool and breezy.
Tipping a productive training week.
Bring in key players.
Pies have to win this by say 26 points but its a hard grind

We are talking about a game involving Freo .....

Games that Freo should win, they flop. Games that Freo should lose, ..... they produce miracles. That is the life of a Freo supporter.

Obviously, Collingwood should win by 25 points, but you never never know.

Love to see Cox right there at centre half back.
Kind of like the way he disturbs the oppositions structures and upsets the apple cart Cox.
Need someone Pies tall player down back who throws their weight around.
Provide a contest.
Pies got a bit more run in them.
Freo are a strong tall marking team.
Pies run off these taller teams but need to provide a contest.
Pies love running off the ground ball.
They are off to the races.
My concerns down back Pies this week.
Pies need to get back to running and gunning they win.

Is their a forum on like this on the Collingwood big footy

Great opportunity for Freo to exploit the loss of Howe and Frampton. With Moore as the only recognised tall back, if Freo can't beat the Pies on Sunday, they won't beat them at all in 2025.

Pies might have to play Dean and when Dean has played, the Pies have only been able to beat North, WCE and Melbourne.

Freo by 19 points.

expect the Dockers to come to the G and show some fight.. they really have to knock that ' not good on the road' on its head.
saying that... the pies know how to win these games

my pies line up:

fb: iq moore maynard
cb: crisp cox houston
c: perryman josh daicos lipinski
cf: hill checkers beau
ff: elliott mcstay timmy
r: cameron nick pendles
int: side whe long shultz
sub: marcov

pies to win by 31 points

The brodie Holland, Paul medhurst and James Clement cup.

Who thinks the Pies are ripe for the picking and freo could upset them at the MCG.
I am sensing it.
Thinking Pies will use the tigers then to work themselves into form.
This ones too much of a challenge for the Pies to win.
Still another week or 2 away from kicking on the Pies.
Not there yet.
Still on top yeah but gaps narrowing.
Kind of time to become wary Pies.
Been too cute and rope a dope to much for my liking.
now we are ripe for the picking.

In all seriousness, Freo to win easily. Pies will be forced to play Dean and have never beaten a decent team when he plays.

methinks as well
pies lose this i think
missing too many
not enough fight either no mongrel
players have some calf awareness and are out for 4 weeks
like they breath or get out of bed and its 1 week
soft pies

might be the rare win of interstate team beats the pies at the i cant recall the last time its happened at the mcg under fly
feeling might have been last year
i know this time last year we had 4 l's a row which cost us 8th.
not too sure if it was v interstate team at mcg tho
this one could be the one on say 3k at the mcg celebrating at the mcg
might just be the cheer squad at the freo game
have you recently been to a game that hardly any fan there of the winning team
and hardly ever noise after their goals only players are the one making the noise
this is the game this will happen

They should give Strauchany a go. He's got the fire in the belly. Fits the age demographic of the group perfectly too.
