so you support gringostine? that's antisaintmeticIt's bizarre world, have been agreeing with Tucker Carlson and Candice Owens on world politics lately and now with Gringo on football.
What a time to be alive.
Absolute weapon. Great skills. Our Zac BailyAccording to the AFL website, his last quarter:
6 CBA’s
11 disposals
8 kicks
4 score involvements
4 inside 50’s
3 rebound 50’s
3 CP’s
2 clearances (1 centre)
2 free kicks
36 fantasy points (equivalent of 144 if extrapolated out over 4 quarters)
Very promising and great that he got to have that experience.![]()
If our club is so pathetic that it's scared to drop Hill in case it upsets Nas we are even more pathetic than I thought

I think the argument is you can only play 1. And the alternative next year is Pou. With Nwm, Windhager, Garcia and 1 Steele/Mcrae, Sinclair can rotate in, Boxshall to develop into it.Who do you propose instead of Macrae/Steele ?
I get what your saying but I don't think Tauru was that bad on Cameron. As Speck said Cameron got 1 handball from a Blitsavs mark 20 out, think he got another out the back. Turned Stocker inside out and kicked a miracle goal. So not as bad as it looks on paper, so perhaps Ross just backed in his young player to do a good job on himI think everyone knows that, but posters are still allowed to comment on the match ups and their output. What coach who wanted to win the game would play a 3rd gamer on someone as proven as Cameron? We all know Tauru made mistakes thats understandable, it was just a very odd positional move.
Even the better kids take time, have a look at Nas he has been in the system 4 years and although he has been very good he is only now dominating. All kids no matter their abilities take time, thats why unless we can bring in a number of experienced players these kids and the team are going to take years before leap frog our current position.
I really don't get the pipe on Byrnes. Never going to be a superstar, but thought he played OK. He isnt good in the air thobit rough on byrnes, don't think he's the answer going forward but let's not be fwits about it, sound like a bunch of carlton supporters
like most whipping boys, he cops heat because the coach keeps selecting him, it's anger at the coach/selectors that gets diverted onto the playerI really don't get the pipe on Byrnes. Never going to be a superstar, but thought he played OK. He isnt good in the air tho
It is marking contests that Hill gets very exposed on and likely oppo target that weakness. He won some good ground ball contests today. He had a few frustrating moments, but still played ok. I really think we need to find a way to play him at half forward tho. He is dangerous down back and surely oppo would isolate him when they can. He also turns it over a bit, this is often taking aggressive kicks, which would work better going into the forward lineExactly how many marking contests did he just stand and watch his opponent mark the ball - he is a liability and should be sent back to the VFL to relearn how to apply himself to contests. Or simply retire and work at the club in a welfare/player support role.
As a club you cant be asking your younger players to commit to contests when you have Hill shirking every physical part of the game.
Post of the dayre tauru on cameron, personally I think it would have been an incredible learning experience for him, and just an awe inspiring moment full stop. To get to line up on THE flying viking for a few quarters, f me, jeremy's probably still giddy

Effort - excellent
Execution - appalling
Swarm the contest - win the contest - hack it fwd - lose it in a turnover.
They way it’s going we may well get 12 games in Adelaide next year. See if we can top our 3 in 5 matches to start the season…!Won’t be able to watch him play live, unless you go to Adelaide for our games lol
I suppose we should only play him when we know in advance he’s not going to be a liability against your criteria.I think Tauru was a liability today. And he was last week too. I don't care about anything else other than winning four points. I accept that you must play talent, and yes, the scales change towards the end of a(nother) poor season. But if I were a Geelong forward (seasoned old bastards they are) , I would be plenty happy to see the likes of Tauru and Hastie listed.
by this metric the only way a player would get to debut is after wheeling a retiree off to the glue factory, but hey one of the marks of intelligence is being able to predict future events. Chimps can do it, maybe they can explain the concept to youI don't care about anything else other than winning four points
This1St Q was putrid, but I thought we did ok for the other 3, apart from that 7m in the 3rd.
Our biggest issue is still no linking mids with run and burst
I really want to see Wilson given a block of game as a rotating mid, we need to find out what sort of player he can be

I am thinking about being competitive at every turn. Bringing the pointy end of the stick to each fight.by this metric the only way a player would get to debut is after wheeling a retiree off to the glue factory, but hey one of the marks of intelligence is being able to predict future events. Stop with the Matthew Lloyd Ffs he’s not the guruHis kicking style is really weird, Reminds me of an NFL punt the way his leg ends up so high.
Would love for him to get some help for it, Matty Lloyd would be a good one.
sorry my reply was harsh, all goodI am thinking about being competitive at every turn. Bringing the pointy end of the stick to each fight.
Totally agree re fwd line it’s been the issue all yearForward line or lack of forward line. I think we had 4 of the first 5 clearances to just watch it come straight back out.
Yes our mids are a little on the slow side but they are not the problem atm, they are actually doing a reasonable job.
Max Heath needs to show more faith in his own ability. He had several opportunities today where he could have taken the kick himself but chose to handball. For rucks this is generally correct but not when you are free. He’s really the old school dinosaur style ruckman so he needs to use his weight and hold his marks.
Higgo has forgotten how to football. Yes he kicked a couple but his confidence looks way off earlier this season.
Mitch did well but he’s not a tall forward target.
Ro had some good moments and some howlers today. I still think we can work with both him and TDK in the same team just not as the ruck and resting forward. I think TDK looks good around the ground playing loose as another mid.
But right now, Pou and Hugo aren't available are they, so who plays?I think the argument is you can only play 1. And the alternative next year is Pou. With Nwm, Windhager, Garcia and 1 Steele/Mcrae, Sinclair can rotate in, Boxshall to develop into it.
Amd the only way that changes is by pumping games into them!I suppose we should only play him when we know in advance he’s not going to be a liability against your criteria.
