Seriously will spew if Harry Scott is not picked up by us he looks fantastic and has afl traits. I have seen him live at least a dozen times this season and last and he just keeps getting better.

Why are people delisting Dow ?

He’s improved a shit load this year and just got injured at the wrong time. He had some really good games early in the season which obviously some of you have forgotten.

Def worth persisting for another year imo

Think about it this way. If we delisted him, which club picks him up?

You would prefer to keep Macca who was so cooked on the weekend vs Pies over Dow who’s shown this year he’s improved a shitload and has some upside . Macca does not

Bulldogs will probably want more, we can pay their salaries and add other things.

Richmond needs to hit the draft hard and support our 2024 draft intake with more incoming talent.

At minimum our next premiership success most likely, if things go half glass full at least involves our 2024 draft intake.

I do not want us kidding ourselves like previous years and think something is going to happen in the next couple of years. Factor in Brisbane's new talent and other add ons and other teams like Adelaide rising, highly highly unlikely we get any sniff at a premiership in the next few years, but I am okay with that, that is the system. My attitude is, you cannot fight the system, you have to embrace it at use it to help you as well as others for mutual but different benefits( especially from a timeline perspective)

I'm not at all convinced Prestia and Lynch's mentoring abilities or whatever will offset the fact we'd be playing one fewer kids in both positions when it comes to development. and i have a hard time remembering us not playing senior players who are available to us (so they will displace someone). Kmac as a sub isn't too bad imo as he's in a position we lack, he's apparently good at setting training standards etc.

Personally I tend to believe old KPFs actually hinder development of kids, Faull has looked much better with Lynch out of the team. Maybe Prestia were to play a more defensive role off half-back it wouldn't be so bad.

the 2024 draft youngsters will be better for another year in the system, experience better conditioning etc...
