LOL coming from a guy that knows nothing about football

Richmond wont win another game you said then BANG BANG Shueygod gets blown away
its funny whats your next prediction ? Eagles making finals in 2028
Look on the bright side. Tigers will probably win a flag before Essendon wins their next final. LoL

I hope North Melbourne makes a grand final vs Richmond in 2031 just to make certain Victorian sides suffer LoL

Richmond didn't get Brett Deledio due to a priority pick. They finished last on the ladder in 2004 so would've got Deledio even in the absence of PP's.

Richmond got Richard Tambling due to the awarding of priority picks. Just like Hawthorn got Lance Franklin and the Bulldogs got Tom Williams via the same mechanism.

And as the Hawks already had Pick 4(7) before PP's (secured by trading pick 10 and a later pick (37) to Collingwood), they also would've got Buddy regardless, but not Jordan Lewis.

Having #1 PP Deledio on the list, as well as #18 pp Rance probably softened the blow somewhat.
Yep … Deledio played in exactly zero flags. And Rance was available to every other team before us…. and played in one of three flags.

Of course Richmond got some high picks by way of finishing low on the ladder (and unlike Eagles didn’t trade those high picks ‘out’…. twice) ….

But when Gale took over we would’ve been gifted more priority picks if we’d have requested … which I’m pleased to say we didn’t. Made the dynasty achievement all the more amazing.

No you wouldn't, because the system for PPs didn't change until 2 years after Gale was appointed.

Richmond simply didn't qualify under the old system when Gale was appointed. It wasn't some thing he purposely avoided.

West Coast have no leaders and probably the worst crop of under 22s the competition has ever seen. No wonder they’re on their knees putting their hands out.

How have they been so bad for so long and the only promising young player on their list is Harley Reid?

Give this rabble what they need. As a supporter of the game, this is grim.

Stop fluffin it you got Tom Lynch for nothing & a blessed fixture from the AFL in 2019 after contending the previous 2 years.

Why did WC delist Culley?
They had better players on the list and probably rated Williams and Shannahan coming probably makes more sense
He got on the end of a couple today in a team that won by nearly 100. Really didn't look that good apart from the one good mark

I liked him and wish him the best now, but its hardly a shocker of a call
Not a great loss

Was at the Dees v Eagles game....West Coast actually looked fairly competitive until about halfway through the third quarter. Think they had a chance to kick a goal to cut the margin to 16 points or something but missed it.

Just seemed to make some absolute basic skill errors and dumb decisions, then fell to pieces once Melbourne piled on a few goals.

Bit of a pity for them that it blew out so ridiculously at the end, they did have some solid patches.
