Recommitted Buku Khamis [FA 2026] - requested a trade to Carlton, didn't get there

Noticed this guy is OOC in 2026

I'm hoping this is up to date but definitely worth Port Adelaide having a look. Not sure where he fits in at the Dogs long term.

I think his peak is probably like Silvagni where he's a handy utility at either end. Obviously doesn't stay in the forward line when everyone is healthy but it would be because of getting better players back instead of his fault.

If a club was looking for a depth third tall at either end then he'd be an option that comes cheap.

Would need to be someone who has the primary target sorted. Buku needs to be getting the 2nd/3rd defender. And his groundball game is quite poor, so needs decent smalls around him to make up for his lack of pressure/follow up.

Great mark of the ball and set shot. Not really sure who needs his type tbh - maybe Geelong as an upgrade on Henry up forward? Even then I'm not too sure

Wouldn't be the worst option for Port actually, he's not your number one man, but he's a pretty good number 2.

My interest would only be as a defender (if he was good at it) as Aliir is old and BZT is unreliable.

Yeah fair enough - if you want him as a defender you're probably best going in with 21 (or 22, what ever the number is in next year).

He’s a very solid forward, average defender. Would be sad to see him go as he’s great depth.

If he is stuck in a one on one he can be vulnerable, sides played through his match up at one point. To be fair early this year he was working through that. Depends on what defender type your looking for.

Think with Archer May coming in and Liam McMahon probably sticking around the list makeup has changed.

The team I can see is Melbourne or Sydney . Those who have interest in Mihocek but dont get him would move on to a guy like Khamis

I dont think Bulldogs get much for him. Probably a pick upgrade handshake and everyone moves on. If im Khamis im wanting a move to Sydney though. Think they have a spot ready for him as that mobile medium forward of sorts

I imagine we'll get more than a pick upgrade for a contracted player, but I agree with your other parts.
