Jay-Z
North's Enforcer
The penultimate round is upon us and for those still lurking these quiet halls, that hopefully means Prelim finals week.
A bit of carnage to get through first as the ruck pig Grundy has deserted us when we needed him most and Merrett got bored of playing with no one and decided to join the injured players group instead. There are four rucks in the top 7 trade in targets this week which says a bit about how the big man will be missed.
Somehow Rozee is still playing through a broken hand despite Port's season being well and truly over but a new coach was not enough to save Trac's declining form. If you're lucky enough to be doing actual luxury trades and getting rid of the likes of Trac and Brayshaw for blokes who look somewhat interested, I tip my hat to you.
Thankfully we should have a few juicy scores to look forward to with the ever popular Bulldogs having the eagles this week making Bont one of the most popular trade in targets and captain choices of the week. The saints stars also get their chance to dance on the grave of Essendon's season tonight and we can only hope that Dodson's selection doesn't ruin Marshall's score. If you're going with the popular NAS/Bont VC/C double you'll have plenty of time to make your decision as these two games bookmark the round. In the middle, we'll see who can avoid the tags with Jordon likely to quell Holmes influence and Lord no doubt going to Butters. We'll see if Geelong decide to deploy Mullins on Gulden/Heeney after they bizarrely decided to ignore Merrett's running around last round. Perhaps they are so focussed on getting Cameron to the ton they just forgot he was there.
