Exactly dude. Imagine spending close to 4m on 2 players, whilst so many other good players are forced to accept unders to be in a team that will still (more than likely) not be pushing for finals.
Ignoring 12 months of reports that we have have the most banked salary cap ever seen, that we have to spend due to salary cap floor

This means so much to us long suffering Saints fans. Our loyalty has been tested to the limit over and over but to lose Nas would have ripped the heart out of the club. And Michelangelo Rucci – get a big black dog up ya!

That's great news for you guys 👍

He isn't shit, no one is going to say that. He also isn't worth $2m.

This reminds me a lot of recent NBA contracts. Sometimes it's just about timing/fit/market. Saints knew they couldn't afford to lose him but he had genuine interest elsewhere. NWM has used that interest to increase his paycheck massively, kudos to him.

NWM & TDK will be eating up 3.8m of the salary cap for 2 players, how do you build a list good enough to win a flag around these guys?

lol we have millions in the cap already from front ending contracts for years. They’ll be paid half there contract in the first 12 months 😂

It's not true. Morris just spinning it. was potentially 2.5m first 2 years front loaded and dropped considerably over the remaining years. No doubt to boost saints offer. Nas was probably always staying for another 2 years and just wanted to get it right, with his manager. Clearly didn't want more than 2 years or that would of just been mentioned by Cal Twomey like all other recent contracts stating 2 years with trigger deals etc but he's only said it's a 2 year deal. So I'd take that as remaining loyal for 2 years on great $$ then weighing up the move back home. His manager got the right contract and IMO had to wait for Saints to finally come to the party from all the pressure from fans, media pundits, team mates etc saying pay the man and even rival offerings bumping it up because the contracts offered earlier just weren't cutting it. 2 years at $2 million is a good deal for him to remain. But if there's no trigger to extend or anything then to me, that sounds like he won't be there longer than that. Good news either way for Saints for 2 years 👍 Perhaps the mods can actually start doing what they've done to others and warn/suspend these saint supporters on here trolling people now and calling others flogs etc
Did you see the Port offer? To know it's not true.

No surprise its a cats and blues fan jerking each other off about the saints potentially blowing up their cap, not all clubs have the luxury of the AFL turning a blind eye to 3rd party payments

We got ours last week. Want to know our thoughts on the naming. "First EVER 60 point team to miss finals and The Eagles win 1 game all in the same season!"

I dont mind it!

We apparently had the worst four game winning streak in the history of VFL/AFL.

If that's not St Kilda then I don't know what is.

Good for Saints/Nas. People on social media read way to much into player interviews, calm the f..k down overanalyzing those things..
Nas is about the worst guy to try and read into his media performances too - he's notoriously shy and doesn't talk himself up so his interviews have always been super meek and light on content

turns out he either has a poker face or literally was just waiting for his manager to tell him to pull the trigger
