Im in exactly the same boat and have been for a while -in fact EVEN if we don’t miss finals, its clear as day he needs support in there and that obviously is in the form of an experienced coach who is a good man manager and great motivator- hence why I think Ken’s* strengths work perfectly opposed to jlos weaknesses and vice vercaShort of a catastrophic result on Sunday, I can’t see them sacking him. Even then the board will probably be satisfied with a 15 win season.
I have know idea if he will ever lead us to the promised land, but what I’m hoping for from the club is some ****ing action over this off season.
The club needs to be proactive, in finding more coaching support. I would be hoping for something similar to the Richmond off season of 16/17.
We need some kind of senior assistant that offsets JLs weaknesses, and any other support that is required. Someone who is able to provide insight into motivating the players for those big games that we occasionaly drop our bundle in.
Need to recruit some hardened experience role players.
They can not allow things to just keep rolling on, we need finals experience into this list otherwise it will never get there.
*And before someone inevitably laughs simply revert to Ken’s record v JLos
It’s no even a competition
