This week is really the boring cliche one week at a time. We should not be looking at anything else other than how we can beat a team who have won 15 games and are just as desperate for a win as us. We are warm favourites but come Sunday when the team runs out that means nothing.

Things like not taking your chances when presented, unforced turnovers, dropped marks, missed tackles and umpiring decisions can have a huge difference on the result in any game.

Ah ok I think from the training reports today it was just a light session with Bont and a few others going inside early. I don't think he has an injury or anything, just maybe management / soreness for the senior players before another session Friday.

Jeez Rocket Eade on the RoCo & himself podcast is extremely bullish about our chances. He reckons Freo are way too defensive & Longmuir is a dour coach. He says they only roll the dice when it desperation stakes . No run off half back and littke creativity. Its safe to say he doesn't rate Longmuir at all. Dogs by 25 is his tip. RoCo went with Dogs by 14.

Definitely, feels like we are the hunted not the hunter with the expectation of a win mainly because it is at Marvel are coming off a lot. Longmuir is pushing this theme they are being dismissed to easily and they are equal 4th and game ahead. Plus, apparently, they have lost 5 times in the last game of the season when they needed to win to play finals.


I would prefer to be the hunter but not to be, it will be interesting to see what theme Bevo goes with for this game. Maybe the Cathy Freeman 2000 Olympic story and pressure to perform could be a theme,
