Ginnivan is widely acknowledged as a great guy off the field, and his diving antics ended at Collingwood, though his reputation persists (he still milks some, but wouldn't be in the top 50 players in the league in that regard). Sure, he gets on your nerves, but he's a performer and entertaining.

Apart from rating himself a future Hall of Fame Legend (when he's simply a Brisbane champion, nothing more) and loving to talk about himself, Zorko is known to be a failure of a man in his personal life, as well as hated by all and sundry who have to deal with him.

You support Hawthorn, doesn’t mean you can’t call Ginnivan a flog. The supporter card doesn’t come with a I must worship the ground that every Hawthorn player walks on. Flogs have played for Hawthorn and plenty more will, just like every AFL club. What did you think of him when he played for Collingwood?

looks like the Hawks went backwards this year, from 6th to 8th.

Won 1 more game than last year and we finished 7th at the end of minor round last year.

This year we had a much tougher draw than last year and basically had our best and probably most important player out for most of the year.

I think we did well to make the 8 but clearly need to improve a few areas to make the nextstep.

I feel GWS are the weakest of the other top 8 teams so not a bad one to get, win that we likely get Collingwood. Not the worst draw through finals

Not sure about Hawthorn's four tall set up if you're going to plan to sub one during the second half. Might be a different story next year with five on the bench, but right now it feels like a bit of a handicap.
