Watch the Victorians fail to cope with this season. Only 3 teams and by the end of week 1 there will only be 2.
No prelims in Vic either will make them salty but I guess they get 2 semis.
But basically unless Collingwood or Geelong win it watch them put on repeat that this was a weak season, a weak minor premier, a terrible finals series etc.
This season has been fantastic and although the gap between top and bottom 9 has been wide its been an amazingly close race for Top 4 and 8 that has gone to the wire.

It's been objectively awful, to the point where FTA is opting out of even showing games.
Adelaide's rise and GC (probs) making finals are a couple of lights in the gloom.
STAND makes the game stunted, like an over-muscled netball...tonight, potentially the best game of the year, was just weirdly flat for the last half of the game. Crowd subdued.

I've enjoyed the season, the victim mentality is crazy though. How do you not understand that Victorians hate other Victorian teams? I'd 100x rather see a non-Vic team win the flag because then I don't have to hear about it

They've turned their backs on boring irrelevant games in favour of broadcasting games that matter to the top 8. That's not a reflection of the season, that's just plain common sense.

and that is where the game is at this year, unless it's marquee, the neutrals are switched off
it's close to unwatchable under the current rules

7 only get a certain amount of games each round. Fox havent switched off a single game.
The game is perfectly fine to watch.

Fantastic? Hardly any memberable marks and goals. No stand out team. Six very poor teams, one sided games.

If only it were just me!
Commentators , especially radio, have running jokes about how boring the games are, focusing on inane stats because there is no interest in the game.
The quality is down and the rules frustrate
Wouldnt one stand out team make it a bad year with an obvious winner?
Ps. Who was the stand out team in the home and away last year? Swans, port, cats or the team that didnt make top 4 and was mass outsiders to win the flag?
Who was the stand out team in the 3 seasons the tigers won the flag? Certainly wasnt richmond at the end of the home and away. The only year richmond was a stand out team was the year they lost the prelim to the pies.
Stand out teams at the end of the home and away are very rare. And there is zero reason that makes it a good year.
Ps. The bottom 6 are ordinary every year.

The beltings are not interesting for neutrals, watching the same teams in Geelong and Pies im the finals for 20 years in a row is not interesting, but that’s the system in place

You are engaging by posting on this forum. We actually had one game decided by more than 100 points, and more games decided by 10 points or less compared to previous years. You're just a bit sad because your team has been shit for a few years and it's reminding you of the dark old days. Things will turn around mate.
That might be a Vic thing. I generally listen to 882 so a bit out of the loop there, and they've never said the game is boring. Actually, they were over the moon that there was another week of footy in WA.

As a Carlton fan, you are only saying that because Carlton made a prelim final and won 2 finals.
Regardless who wins the flag, 2025 has been worse out of the last 5 seasons. In 2025, there was 9 solid sides.
I mean had Freo lost to the dogs, that means 9th with 15 wins and 8 defeats.
At least in 2023 and 2024, there was a decent solid group of middle sides.
Both years there was only 3 and a half wins between 5th and 14th.
In 2023, Carlton got 5th with 13 wins , a draw and 9 losses. Dockers got 14th with 10 wins and 13 losses.
Last season, Brisbane got 5th with 14 wins 1 draw and 8 losses. Demons got 14th with 11 wins and 12 losses

Just another fairweather Richmond fan. Only care about the sport when Richmond doing well and anytime they aren't then apparently the comp is cooked.
