A precocious talent tracking towards GOAT status
So far Bobby Hill has one more Norm than him, he has the same amount of Copelands as Jaicos, and he has the same amount of Brownlows as Scott. He is on track to get about the same amount of finals goals as Scott as well.
Scott has the honour of being the only player who wasn't a permanent defender to play 30 finals without scoring 10 or more goals. When he needs to be an impact player, he instead becomes a limpact player.
My worst AFL nightmare would be waking up to the headline: "Richmond recruits another one of Peter Daicos's sons."

A real one: walking around the MCG on Grand Final day 2008. The Hawthorn supporters are looking far too confident, almost as if they know something is going to happen. (I'm not the only one who has mentioned that ... John Harms wrote a whole article about the atmosphere that day).

I brought up something entirely different.
Goals in finals. And all the ones Scott hasn't kicked.
My nightmare would be Scott removes my anti-Scott statistical 1 wood by kicking a goal in the upcoming AFL Toyota Finals series. It would force me to resort to me anti-Scott statistical 2 wood, ie that this "revered" leader is so good a leader that he is the least successful of his own club's last three leaders. So if Darcy Moore finally got his just desserts and was suspended for the Grand Final, AND Collingwood *Collified for the same decider, AND won, AND before the game Craig advised the Collingwood players that Scott will be "Captain for the day" that would be horrendous for me.
*Collified is when a team gets through to the Grand Final due principally to means other than their own merit. Uber-sympathetic umpiring and Tribunal decisions as with their 2023 gimp flag effort for example.

Last time a club with a half way decent Grand Finals won per finals lost ration since the TV era began in the mid 60's lost a Grand Final to any of these clubs....
