Great player and definitely a need, but the rumour is they’re offering him $1.3m a year. That would make him our highest-paid player, and I’d avoid him at that cost.

Our pick 9 is virtually 90% of pick 7 so that's basically all we need.
Gets slightly better as we slide back with earlier bids.

However I doubt we let it get used that way anyway

That sounds good, I agree with you draft picks and then try and get Butters. Don't really care about Charlie he has made it clear he does not want to be at Carlton ok then piss off then, but wait he is contracted for another 4 years so tough t***ies.
