Surely Leppa is getting busy following the JSOS news? It's a bit depressing that there's already reports that the Dogs have moved on to Wilkie but there's no equivalent reporting of us. It might only be the Dogs kicking the tyres and I can't see us being able to offer the same cash as the Dogs are reportedly offering but to go into 2026 with Frampton, Reef coming off a knee and Cochran is a bit worrisome.

I think it's good news there's no equivalent reporting - we don't need our plans in the media. Our team would be putting a lot of work into finding some defensive depth. I doubt we would be looking to retain Dean next year.

So now NOT kicking goals is a prerequisite, your logic is hard to keep up with. You make it sound like McStay won't kick another goal ever and he certainly won't at another club. I remember him stitching up a guy called Sam Taylor in a final we won by a kick which was fairly important at the time but you seem to have amnesia regarding what he can do and has done.. He's going nowhere but if you're right he'll be in different colours, you can die on that hill if you like, bookmarked for future reference.

I like the romanticism of bringing a famous Collingwood name home (I’d love Richards even more!!!!) … but he’s too old for our list that is already too old. And expensive.

I wouldn’t discount that McStay is injured. We won’t know the full story until the end of the season.
