I’m looking at it from the perspective that Rogers and Lombard are the type of players we would’ve likely targeted in the draft anyway, based on their junior form, attributes, and positions - with Walter being a semi-comparable type to Curnow.

That said, I agree it’s highly unlikely the Suns would be willing to part with three academy products, as it undermines their local pathways and discourages other homegrown talent.

Still, the reality is they’ll need to put something compelling on the table… and the Harry Dean situation complicates the Port Adelaide pick that would otherwise be in play.

I wonder if WCE would swap out pick 2 for 6 and 9.

Walter is the exact type I’d take in a trade for Charlie. KPF’s don’t grow on trees and while he’s not the finished article, you can clearly see the talent and potential he’s got.

Voss was very blunt about him on SEN and can’t remember hearing many negative comments from him about our players over the journey. Almost feels like Dogs re. Jamarra.
