• 7 years passed
• Gold Coast entered the competition in 2011
• Gold Coast failed to make a single finals series in their first 13 seasons
• Gold Coast finally qualified for their first ever finals series and won a final with their first attempt (and did it away from home when they’re literally allergic to planes)
