How refreshing and inspiring to listen to the interviews with Wobblers people last night.
The CE, the coach, the captain, and a couple of the players all heralded and praised the supporter base.
😲😱😳
Unbelievable!!!

Don't these non achievers know that members and supporters are ignorant imbeciles, devoid of football savvy, and clueless in the extreme about the (artificially lowered) definition of success of a professional sporting organisation?

Don't they realise that we are only there to provide an income stream, and ineligible to provide any constructive criticism of poorly managed processes?

That we are naysayers, white anting the club and demeaning the great work those within the club have and continue to do, based on those groups' insular, self congratulatory back patting, and myopic self agrandisement?

Get with the plan you lot!

Membership Update - 5th September 2025

View attachment 2417405

Increase of 4,833 members in 16 days (20/08/25)
Up by 6,846 members from same time last year (05/09/24 - 71, 177)

This could be the final count before the membership tally is audited by the AFL.
Last years final count was 71,307 on 10th September but audited to 66,015 on the 11th of September.

lmao who are they kidding
78k members, average home crowd not even close to half that figure.

SHOW US THE MEMBER REVENUE GRAPH, THEN SHOW IT AGAINST INFLATION
cowards

Creative accounting at its finest.

Also received an email today that my 2026 renewal will be processed.

"Your membership will automatically renew with your first instalment deducted on Friday 10 October."

Not wasting any time.

Wouldnt it make sense that creating a whole new membership class ie the womens team, would result in a overall spike in total numbers. A breakdown of each type would be interesting to see.

The only meaningful numbers would be membership revenue and 11 game equivalent memberships.

When we have to fudge the numbers to get home attendances to 30,000 late in the season, claiming 78000 members is pretty hollow. It's not just us either, every club in the league does it.

These numbers are utter garbage. The only purpose they serve is to make the AFL and the arsehats running our club Koch and Richo believe they are doing a stellar job.

Does anybody seriously believe Fremantle are really sitting in 12th spot despite average home crowds being nearly 46k with only 1 game against their local rival? Like they are only a 1000 more than the Saints and Dogs. These numbers are just so meaningless.

Even in this, we were something like 7th on the membership table in 2014, and now we're 11th.

We're cucks even in the made up membership number table.

The auditing reducing Port Adelaide's reported membership mostly being based on the way the AFL allocates Adelaide Oval memberships between the two clubs, using a split that does not at all align with the actual numbers they report for the clubs.

Isn't the whole membership numbers thing simply used by the AFL to demonstrate their engagement superiority vis-a-vis the NRL? It suits their purpose to include everything with a pulse. I get the impression though the NRL doesn't much care, they just flog the bejesus out of the State of Origin to demonstrate their reach.

I haven't been a member for the last three years, and still deciding whether to resume now that Hinkley is gone, but I reckon there might be a few thousand jump again next year for this reason alone.

Me too. i have been holding off to see the new coaching panel and how the players react to the change. I would agree that next year we may see an increase now that the idiot has gone.

There are probably a bunch of members who won't sign up because they think we will fall down the ladder without Ken too.

If everyone believes the member figures are rigged why would it change next year?
The numbers will go up even if Yogi Bear is coaching us.
