Had the number 2 on my jumper for Marra was with him after his interview but the shooting lies was the last straw for me,

He doesn't want to be a professional athlete which is fine but do the right thing then and rip up your contract

AFL should apply the bringing the game into disrepute equally to all, not just selectively.

Asking genuinely given there's been very little mentioned about it recently - has Jamarra continued to make progress since he first returned to training a couple of months ago, or has it stuttered a little? If he were to be kept on the list for 2026, would you expect him to be there day 1 of preseason? Or would it more likely be a continuation of this year with prolonged absences? (ignoring the nightclub stuff)

I'd legitimately love to see him tried as a defender. Stops the wayward set shots at the very least.

He committed to playing football and all he seems to have done is improved his skolling skills. We aren’t paying him to beat Bob Hawks world record. I’d kind of like a couple of goals to go with that $800k out the door….

Hasnt pre-season 2026 always been the target. He was never coming back to the AFL side this year. Yes we would’ve loved to see him play some VFL however he had another setback with a family members passing, just as he was gaining momentum. That knocks you about. After that, I think we all knew it was not realistic he’d be back playing at any level.

I’m backing him in to put this behind him & tackle next year as a fresh start.
