North has just made a fair and reasonable offer for Starcevich while WCE has only offered threats. You’re on the back foot and are likely to lose Starcevich if you keep this up.

To be fair if I was a Brisbane fan I’d also be obnoxiously happy about f***ing over 18th place and taking their captain as well.

I really hope it’s not an end of first round or post-second round pick that we get that has to be traded. Whatever we get will go straight to Brisbane so I’d prefer to be like 2x end of second rounders this year and an end of first rounder next year that all need to be traded or something. Send the 2 off for Starcevich and get cracking onto convincing a pre-agent to move next off season for that end of first

My bad for committing the cardinal sin of thinking you shouldn’t be gifted the best midfielder in the draft for free (for a third time) bc u let Starcevich leave, who you wouldn’t receive compensation for anyway. Honestly if Starce chose North, I think most Brisbane supporters would really just accept the fact we will lose him for no compensation. Obviously mitigated by getting Allen and Draper.
There would be no expectation of matching and forcing a trade for a pick.

We can acknowledge the circumstances we’re in. WCE supporter too busy playing the victim card to see that they're rorting the system more than anymore. Then wanting to double down and get him for a token pick.

Your circumstances, not wanting to dilute the overcompensation for Allen, would change everyone’s approach. It’s equally if not more in your interest to make a deal, something the WCE supporter in here are having trouble with.

I haven’t seen anything ridiculous suggestion like F1 suggested by any Brisbane supporter in here, far from us trying to force whatever value we want.

On the other hand WCE supporter constantly saying the Hawk R3 is enough, That’s a token pick. Even the Hawks R2 is currently 31, with likely 4 compensation picks (Allen, Draper, TDK and Silvagni) you’re likely assistance pick, that fast becoming a token pick.
