Have a spell mateSo the BIGGEST CHEATER in the game... Matt Rowell.. the player throws the ball the most of any player in the league, and gets looked after by umpires...suprise suprise, gets the most votes from those same umpires. What a joke.

And yet…so very enjoyableRowell polling in multiple games where he did not get coaches votes is staggering.

And daicos as well. He played in their senior team as a yr 10 I think.Imagine being gifted those players as a school footy coach. Guaranteed trophies.
Would love to see a brownlow winner NOT kiss the medal.now just for the cliche Brownlow medal photo shoot alongside the Yarra River tomorrow morning
But who cares? It's literally an award based on the umpire's view of who was best on ground. Theoretically it's from people who shouldn't have a clear bias.
There's coaches awards, players awards, media awards, awards for heckin'g everything these days. It's not like the Brownlow is the only one and we are forced to accept that now Matt Rowell was the best performed player of the year.
It's an excuse for the league to make a bit of a song and dance and a celebration. People shouldn't care about who wins it nearly as much as they do.
for a dude who polled 3 votes in his second, third and fourth games in his debut season, then four '3 votes' to start off this year this – it's not even an outrageous statementWere you one of those doomsayers who thought GWS would win 5 in a row?
Maybe this is leading us into the Grand Final breakfast
First off, you said, and I paraphrase here because I don't want to go back and quote you directly because it is not important, "every player was getting drunk", which you have conceded here that was not the case. So you were wrong on that count. We are know the Grand Finalists don't drink. There was no bad behaviour but not everyone enjoys drunks and kids watching think this is normal.
Hawthorn players drop the ball on contact as a ploy. Your coach makes a mockery as well.He throws the ball a lot without handballing and makes a mockery of a rule that's been in place for over 100 years.
Staggering to believe that there are miserable dumbasses like yourself that exist .And yet…so very enjoyable.
During the same time, Cripps averaging 28.75 votes per season. Always second for the little champNick Daicos averages 27.25 votes per season

You don't have to drink at all especially will a million people watching. Other athletes aren't binge drinkers.Do you tell everyone at a wedding to stop drinking? Or at a birthday?
Probably not because people tend not to invite that miserable cousin who whinges about everything.

Why do they keep showing Nicky in the crowd sulking?
His only 22/23 has another 10 yrs to try win one, i know his a stat nerd so his likely more pissed off at the games where Rowell voted 3 and projected 0, which yeah if they didn’t happen, would have given him the medalCmon you can see how much it means to Nicky.
He’ll just bust if he doesn’t have a Brownlow to hang in his pool room.
Because people have eyes.First off, you said, and I paraphrase here because I don't want to go back and quote you directly because it is not important, "every player was getting drunk", which you have conceded here that was not the case. So you were wrong on that count.
Next, if the players that were drinking were not engaging in bad behaviour, how do you know, or more specifically and pertinent to your ostensible concerns, how would the observing children know that they were "getting drunk"?
This is up there with Priddis and Woewodin
New to the Brownlow? Happens every year. Especially amongst the leading few players, and more so the winning players. That being said, Rowell deserved it and still likely would have won it anyway, even if you remove some of those questionable games, and some for his nearest rivals too.Rowell polling in multiple games where he did not get coaches votes is staggering.
