People talking about Rowell and Daicos contested mark totals over their careers to talk about "hardness".

This season alone.

Contested Possessions: Daicos 263, Rowell 345
Tackles: Daicos 98, Rowell 214
Clearances: Daicos 155, Rowell 205

Rowell is an underrated two way player who loves doing the physical stuff.

Rowell did get 3 votes in one game he wasn't predicted to poll in. But that was the game where he laid 17 tackles. So no real surprise there.
Rowell polling in multiple games where he did not get coaches votes is staggering.

So the BIGGEST CHEATER in the game... Matt Rowell.. the player throws the ball the most of any player in the league, and gets looked after by umpires...suprise suprise, gets the most votes from those same umpires. What a joke.
You've really embarrassed yourself in yet another thread.

Firstly, your statement is patently incorrect. There were Geelong players there drinking water, softies, and coffee.

Secondly, I said I wanted specific examples of poor behaviour that would unduly impact children, which was ostensibly your original concern.

Anything short of that, and you're simply being a ridiculous wowser.
We are know the Grand Finalists don't drink. There was no bad behaviour but not everyone enjoys drunks and kids watching think this is normal.

Well thank goodness for people like you who want to castigate people who spend probably 9+ months of the year completely, or if not, almost completely sober, measuring everything that goes into their bodies and training daily to be elite athletes, being poked and prodded and tested ad nauseum, playing arguably the toughest combative team sport on the planet, daring to let their hair down at the pre-eminent end of season awards night.

Seriously, who displayed reprehensible, or otherwise, poor behaviour? I want specific examples in detail.
Yeah. Well i'm a binge drinker. Can go months, years, never think about it. Then Tim comes to town and I'm blacking out losing 6 hours, broken metartarsal, weeks off work etc.

Just can't stop at one. Pretty bloody dangerous. Hey, I'm still here. Incredible fortune.

End of a long season for nearly everyone and one of the biggest nights on the football calendar to let your hair down . Why not get drunk with your mates ?
Because there is a milliion people watching . You can drink afterwoods . To retain your dignity.

This is up there with Priddis and Woewodin

Three very fine brownlow medal winners tyvm

If you want corruption at its very core - Judd's second brownlow, Cripps' second brownlow, Ablett's second brownlow - entirely undeserved.

I mostly agree with that, but not like he's so far ahead of the comp and it's only a matter of time. There's a decent chance he'll never win one, which is okay. The list of great players who have never won one is far longer than the ones who have.

Nick may be the best in the AFL but he isnt "so far ahead" of the other best players in my opinion.

In a way I do feel sorry for Nick. The media been pumping his tyres up since he was in the U16's and its obviously gotten to his head. Losing this hurts him more than losing against the Lions in the Prelim to play at the Big Dance. Some guys want team success and there are those who chase individual accolades.

Do you tell everyone at a wedding to stop drinking? Or at a birthday?

Probably not because people tend not to invite that miserable cousin who whinges about everything.

Meathead football not great at public speaking. Much shock.

Reckon those talking the piss would struggle just as much.

I'd have been as bad at public speaking as Rowell at the same age but Hame has no excuses for being as bad as he is at his age.

He wasn't an odds on favourite so he performed to expectations votes wise.
