Seen a few on here the last month or so say we are very keen on XT.
If WC don't go CDT you'd think it will be Sharp who I've said for months I think Richmond would pass on.

The other risk is someone like GC or bombers trading up to 2 to get ahead of us…

I think the bigger concern is Essendon trading up, but probably only if they get pick 6/7 for Draper. Even then think it’s a huge gamble and unlikely.
WC will take Duursma and Sharp or CDT. They should take Sharp but Matty Clark is running the show

Yeah looks very close.
Reckon Essendon go Greeves (with CDT) if you go Sharp and go Schubert (with Sharp) if you go CDT. Those campaigners been crying out for a big mid since Watson quit (and even prior to him juicing lol)

Surely there's no way they can afford all three
The only way the draft could be better (and still realistic as I see no way to get Duursma) would be we pick up Oskar Taylor somehow between 10-20.
There’s a world, if they get 2 from WCE the first bid will be us at 3 maybe 4 if they push Brisbane on Annable to make Uwland/Patterson cheaper. Then it’s just finding the points elsewhere, they’d probably get all WCEs 2nds and if they trade next years f1 to WCE as part of trade what do they care if they go into deficit next year.
I’m sure the afl will give them a stern talking too but they’d let it all ride.
That being said I think it’s unlikely and probably means you lose others like Humphries/Lombard etc in a few years as you can’t keep stacking the team.
Looks like if we want Taylor and Robey we won't be able to split

Agree. I'd love to walk away with Robey & X Taylor... But if there was a path where we could get Robey plus two of Grlj / O Taylor / Dovaston / Phillipou I'd be just as happy with it. Grlj unlikely to be there if we split though, especially after he blows the combine up with his athleticism.

According to Tigs last night if we have picks 2 and 3 we will use those on the night. If we have picks 3 and 4 we will look to trade pick 4
He’s mostly played back. I watched him play a half in midfield and was very good.
I think he could play wing l, as he is quite good at breaking lines, but I wouldn’t bank on it more a nice if it happened. I think he’s ceiling is a Will Day type development into midfield his floor is a Maynard/vlas type defender only

Not sure if he's played wing, but definitely played a game in the midfield and looked good.
I think Eastern's lack of key defenders has left him playing taller most of the time.
Who is the player we think we'll miss out on that would then cause us to split the pick?
If we want Taylor we can trade pick 4 for another top 10 pick and then something else and get Taylor and someone else
