He averages a goal a game or less, that's below average
Yes, Ah Chee's Finals performances have elevated people's view's on him ....only 182cm, not a big leap, but times his marks well

That said, he's been a regular in that strong BRIS side for the last 5 years .....that says how BRIS rated him, and Davis was his forwards Coach, and you'd suggest influential in securing Ah Chee

Like I said, Ben Keays himself at the Brownlow (who would still have some old Bris team mates so in theory would have some sort of intel) said that Ah Chee was all but a done deal.

Sounds like it will be a ANB 'gentleman's agreement' style deal and nothing silly or rip off...

If we can't and one of the big prize mids, then we have to keep increasing the floor of the team like we did last year. AhChee and a player like Hollands (if you could get him understanding it a last chance saloon) as he has real talent and swap out a couple of the fringe players and its looking better again AND we then would still be able to draft in the 1st round of this draft so keep building top end player talent to develop.
Haven't heard much about Hollands for a bit, I did hear he was get checked out by Fremantle from the youtuber True Footy

He's definitely an average player. Wouldn't add as much as any of last year's recruits

Never said he wouldn’t add anything like last year recruits
But I think he will add something to the team. He’s versatile and finals experienced.

I have a feeling Trac is going to drag this out until a team gives him a deadline. He's not moving for financial gain, and it looks like he's moving interstate if he changes clubs. So he'll sit on this decision to the bitter end if allowed to.
He's doing his due diligence as he should.

There ie no rush.

Oh cmon ......Taylor & Pedlar still at the early part of their careers .....Ah Chee towards the end .....a silly comparison, apart from the fact they are all very different players

I agree somewhat with fuic08 .....more IMO a good average player, but with the ability to play back & forward :whitecheck:

Pedlar just needs a sustained run of footy .....he's showed with his attack on the footy & man, what he's capable of ....just too infrequently to this point

But 2026 is a new season
Pedlar’s just consistently shown he’s too injury prone to really ever get a run at it. His QF was very promising, but we saw that very rarely this year

Taylor isn’t a forward

Ah Chee is a big upgrade on that 7th fwd slot, given this year’s production from that spot

Cal and Riley keep saying it’ll go down to the last 1/2 hour of the trade period, so maybe not

Obviously a 3 year contract isn't enough to get someone to move, but I would have thought that's about right for Ah Chee
Probably because he had another 4 years offer to go to WA.

This is 100 % the case

If we don't get Trac we are ready to pull the trigger on Oliver, groundwork already done
You wonder how he feels about being our backup option.
From all reports seems happy to stay.

Agreed. However, he seems to not be a stay-at-home forward. Last week, for example, he seemed to be running up and down the ground to both ends, more like a wingman. I'm not that impressed, but at least he is a proven finals player.
Going back to the Keays comparison, who also gets up the ground.
Ah chee averages less disposals, goals and tackles

I'm not against bringing him in, I just don't see the huge appeal apart from finals experience maybe?

Be a bit of a change for the Crows wouldn’t it? Having a lad that lifts in finals rather than the other way around ha ha

7 running with this re Walker and Ah Chee

Josh Money really uncovering some gems in here. So a player coming in might have an effect on keeping another player. Huge if true.

He's also not a free agent. But 7 News understands not to let facts get in the way of a good story.

Ah Chee would be 3 years with triggers for +2 I'd suspect.

no chance, this will be the last major deal of his career and we're trying to get him to move interstate.

We shouldn't be surprised that it's 4 years (at least) guaranteed. would have to be very easy triggers to be 3 years.

Taylor isn't a anything if that's the case. Very much a small forward or bust at this stage seeing how little he's shown in the last four years.

Well that's my point. 3 years guaranteed, with triggers for more. As in, if he gets a serious injury or doesn't play enough games due to injury then he won't get more, but if he does then he will. If he's still getting games 3 years in, then he won't be falling off a cliff.

What I want is for Pedlar to watch hours and hours of tape of Jamie Elliott, they’re a similar size and I think he could really move into that role, who stays more at home, can beat them on the ground and in the air.
Reckon it’d compliment Tt and Fog moving forward.
