Heard from a unusual source (2nd hand from a staffer of the club) that Wilkies mrs is pushing hard for him to take our deal.
Can play forward/wing as well bye bye McNeilYeah we clearly see a whole on our list at that young tall inside mid role. Knevitt / Erasmus and now Robertson. Can't see an obvious spot for him in 2026 with everyone healthy, but this may be for the post Libba + Treloar years with Sanders long term future here a little questionable...
Person who told me goes no where near bigfooty. I have read what Armooo has been saying too. Not connected imoDid they read it on BF?

Huh, you just described Sanders???Club sees young inside mid as a weakness in the list. He’s depth with upside. Similar to Erasmus.
Sanders isn't a big bulking inside midHuh, you just described Sanders???
If she was serious she would have driven him to the club. Come on Ms Wilkie, take charge of this relationship of yours!!!At those dollars my wife would be doing the exact same thing![]()
Neither is Libba. Richards, Bont, Kennedy and Sanders is more than enough inside mid for us. (Assuming Libba gets managed more next year).Sanders isn't a big bulking inside mid
Happy wife happy life and all thatHeard from a unusual source (2nd hand from a staffer of the club) that Wilkies mrs is pushing hard for him to take our deal.
Huh? He’s one player. Dev is depth and the right kind of depth.Huh, you just described Sanders???
He lost 6 to 7kgs this year to improve his running capacity.Sanders isn't a big bulking inside mid
Haha the wifey always pushes for you to take the higher income...Heard from a unusual source (2nd hand from a staffer of the club) that Wilkies mrs is pushing hard for him to take our deal.
If draft picks alone won't suit them, recent trade history over the past decade or more says the most likely scenario would be a multi-club trade. If Wilkie does want to come, how are we going to get the deal done? I doubt saints will want draft picks.
Why request the trade to not Queensland two years earlier, if this is true?Again though, when has he said that? We’re just putting words into his mouth. He says he left because he saw himself living long-term in QLD where his partner was from. Bevo alluded to money as the factor at our BnF. Everything else is just rumours and media speculation
Well contrary to the belief of Saints fans and some on here. You can't just trade away Freijah or Sanders. It's not America. If the Saints want players, then it is up to them to contact said player and make them an offer they cannot refuse, and put in a trade request. So unless one of our players WANT to go to the Saints. It will be picks of some sorts or as someone said above, a multi club trade involving a player from another team.If Wilkie does want to come, how are we going to get the deal done? I doubt saints will want draft picks.
I think the "want" element of this is Saints giving those players 4-7 year contracts and setting them up for life, while we're still rolling over the shorter-term contracts.Well contrary to the belief of Saints fans and some on here. I was just joking. Sounds very similar to Armoooo's storyPerson who told me goes no where near bigfooty. I have read what Armooo has been saying too. Not connected imo
Treloar and Libba have 1 or 2 years left just lost Scott who was the only listed mid most weeks in the CBAsYay bringing in more midfielders. Glad we are addressing our biggest needs.
bringing in midfielders is fine with me as long as they are defensively better than what we haveYay bringing in more midfielders. Glad we are addressing our biggest needs.
plus, we are getting old in there, Bont had his first real serious injury with his calf, he is getting close to 30, even though he keeps himself in peak condition the body does start to age (Lets hope not though!! .... treloar calf, last season, Libba slowed down to an extent late in season... need to replenish and have back ups.Yay bringing in more midfielders. Glad we are addressing our biggest needs.
