Flights into Coolangatta aren’t as plentiful as say Melb to Adel so maybe this is why. Unless you like flying Jetstar

GC have recently joined the enquiry.

This is consistent with Garry Lyon’s sook on Fox Footy … he made it sound as though Petracca was aggressively pursued by the club, opposed to him opening the door.

Apparently we need his leadership and experience to direct the young guys in the forward line even though we have Fog who is 26, Keys who is 28 and Neil-Bullen a soon to be 30 year old premiership player.

Clarifying ....we had the largest & best offer on the table, 6 months out from the end of the season

Other offers, continued to leap-frog each other, until it got to a STUPID level that it now is .....and our offer went from the largest to the smallest

It begs the question ....was NWM's form in a half a season, his real level .....or is his 1st half of the season the norm ?

I’m not sure that we ever had the highest bid but were all relatively close for awhile.

He couldn’t have gotten in and out of Adelaide quicker. His wife had never been here yet didn’t spend any time really to check the area out.

I’d been hearing GC for a while (which I mentioned on here). But I don’t really know which one he’s leaning towards at this stage.

Do you know what happened to the Steven’s chase?

Just on the "did he stay overnight" thing - you can do MEL-ADL-MEL in a day comfortably; MEL-GC-MEL not so much. It's just time/logistics.

Plus the news broke at around 2:30. Say he left in the afternoon and landed on the GC at, say, 4, then he's not going to head back to Melbourne on the same night.

I know it's natural to be pessimistic here (including me), but it's getting a bit silly.
