I said at the time that we should have somehow done something to make them give us pick 5 instead of pick 7 with that Bowes/7 trade.... Would have drafted him.

What killed us in the GF was not having the players to get clean ball out to Holmes, Smith, Miers, Mannagh who are either quality ball users or gain metres.

Oliver isn't a great kick, but gets congested ball and can get it out. He also covers the field pretty well.

But not sure you take him if we are taking Worpel and have an eye to Butters.

they have spent approx. 6 mill on acquisitions and retaining players so far.

One of Bailey's housemates has connections with Geelong - Maddy Brancatisano along with two of her sisters, Isa & Charlotte, used to play basketball for the Geelong Supercats in SEABL

So surely she can talk up for good the region is

Pure speculation, but it makes me wonder if we are now on really firm ground with butters who will take all of the trade capital we have moving into the future. Last I heard we were not miles apart in terms of wage, I hope he comes.
