Posters are responsible for what they post. Moderators can not attest to the accuracy or otherwise of any rumour posted.

Moderators will intervene for a couple of reasons.

1. If a thread is threatening to be derailed because of a post.

2. If invested parties request the removal of material.

None of this draws a conclusion as to the accuracy or otherwise of the original post.

There is no need to further speculate. What will be will be.

Also, you need to remember that this thread like all parts of this forum is bound by the rules of poster conduct. If you want to express skepticism towards a rumour that's fine, but having a crack at posters who are contributors to this forum is simply not on and will be acted upon.

I don't dislike Hayward but he has only managed 30+ goals in a season twice and both times it was playing 25+ games in a team which made the Grand Final. I wouldn't be expecting too much from him if he comes.

Oscar Allen has kicked more than 30 once in a season, and West Coast gets pick 2 for him

Really?

Charlie’s manager is clearly feeding the narrative to the media - Re Geelong being his preferred destination.

That hasn’t been said about the Swans or Suns.

It’s pretty clear CC’s manager is driving the message behind CC’s wishes.

Anything beyond that is purely conjecture at this point.

You only perform as good as your results. I never think a team underperforms or overperforms because those kinds of sayings are driven hard by the media and the odds makers. If a media member gets his pre-season pick wrong, he blames the team and not himself for picking them. Every season is a rollercoaster. It only matters where you finish and not at the start or middle. In a 100 metre race, no one cares who was leading at the 20 metre mark.

I've been a Hayward fan for years. Would be one of the better mid-sized forwards in the AFL. Great overheard but can also play small and is a great kick. Would be very happy for him to be part of any deal. Campbell would be a dream as well.

Averages over 10 goal assists a season, not a crazy number but he would've been in our top 5 for goal assists this season.

He's a good footy player all round, a great mark too but his real skill is his leading to the ball.

Im still in the Charlie stays camp.

Been consistently told it's all media hype and Charlie isn't as strong on wanting out as they are making it sound.
