I could see us trading our 4th and Brodie for Ports 4th rounder and trading that 4th rounder for Serong or a three way trade with Carlton where they get Reidy, Hawthorn get a late pick and we get Serong.

So Ive just done a quick main list players count. We have 3 main list spots available (provided we keep 6 rookies) but that's if you count Will Brodie. So likely once we trade out Will we will have 4 main list spots and we could create another by delisting redrafting Sturt as a rookie (we then have two rookie spots). As we are promoting Sharp we can use only two draft picks if we recruit Serong and McVee.

My very balanced and honest Hawthorn supporting mate highly rates Jai Serong. Reckons he would have played every game for them if not for their two free agency pick ups.

Perfect player for us to be picking up, young and talented key backman/winger who is worth very little due to being squeezed out of the 22.

Bonus that hes Caleb's brother.
