I don't get the love for St.kilda. what do they have that could see them play finals?
Its more what they are expected to be getting. The gap between being an, at best, poor to bad team* and a mid-table to finals team isn't that great.
A little improvement plus a bit of injected talent may be enough. Or, if the changes are too many, could lead to a slow start to the season that keeps them out of the running.

*the bottom three are way below trash, more akin to poisoned compost heaps

What makes you think Ross an elite coach. Serious question
Anybody who can take a St Kilda side and a Fremantle side to a Grand Final has to be an elite coach 😂.

Obviously I’m biased but Ross clearly coaches to a plan and most of the time delivers.

You may not like his plan but he can clearly coach.

Not saying he cant coach, just don't think he is elite unless he delivers a flag.

That’s fair.

I’ve always thought elite coach who got unlucky in 09 and 10.

Could’ve easily gone back to back.

Obviously he didn’t though.

For now we will say good coach.

Way kinder draw doubt it when you're the reigning premiers.

Suns are a top 4 double up for Brisbane this year instead of an outside of the 8 double up, which was a big part of why our fixture was so hard this year. Can't get any harder than 2025.

1. Brisbane - Could go undefeated
2. Gold Coast - Petracca addition will be enormous
3. Hawthorn - Merrett addition will be enormous
4. Geelong - Marshall addition will be enormous
5. Fremantle - Ready to properly challenge
6. Adelaide - Can challenge again. need another midfielder
7. Western Bulldogs - Interrupted 2025, they will be better and more settled next year
8. Sydney - Last year was a write off early on

9. GWS - Just don't have enough through the middle anymore. Should be going hard for Simpkin or Trac
10. Collingwood - The cliff is upon us - Will be ordinary for the next few years
11. St.Kilda - Bye bye Rossco
12. North Melbourne - The big bounce is beginning
13. Port Adelaide - Just in no mans land at the moment. Could be worse if Butters leaves in the next few weeks
14. Carlton - Big concerns here with players departing all over the place
15. Melbourne - New coach. Have sneakily had a bit of an exodus once Petracca and Mcvee depart on top of Spargo
16. Essendon - Goodness me. Where to?
17. West Coast - Will improve slightly.
18. Richmond - Will be worse than last year.

North are ready to jump. Richmond aren't.

Second year for young guys can generally be difficult, and theres not a heap of leadership to guide them through.

I think Richmond regress in 2026

Y'all got no idea.

Port's coming for gold!!
Or, at least iron pyrite.
Seriously, if Port can keep that first-choice midfield together, and imnprovement in the rotations, they should be highly competitive. Its turning ball winning to winning score that remains in doubt. Anything from pushing for top four to narrowly missing bottom four would not be huge shocks.
