I’m confused by this as well.If we trade our R1 this year …will we be able to trade out our R1 next year. 2 in 4 would suggest no.
Surely if Curnow really had a desire to get to Geelong he'd be long odds to want to live in Sydney. The media talk is still leaning heavily towards Curnow to Sydney
There's really not been much time given on Curnow to Geelong

The reason I think the media are leaning towards Curnow to Sydney is twofold right now.Surely if Curnow really had a desire to get to Geelong he'd be long odds to want to live in Sydney.
Well that answers that question.
Embarrassing is being in the comp since 1897 and still being yet to register 1000 wins. They did beat us last year though. That was embarrassing
Kind of snookers us from landing Curnow. Which probably won't happen anyway.
Shall we take guesses as what this trade will involve
I hear you, but not even 24 hours after the rugba leeg grand final and even NRL loving sites like foxsports.com.au were wall to wall covered with AFL trade articles. The AFL would be absolutely loving every second of it, people might want it to wind up quicker but the numbers say the majority love the drama trade week/s bring, and the AFL only care$ about one thing.Free agency shouldn't last a week, especially not RFA - if needed, open it on the Wednesday and have the Monday as the last day for lodgement, so that any potential matching is completed by 5pm Wednesday
Trade Week opens on the Monday, and it finishes on the Friday at 5pm... Or if they really want their "primetime" viewing, then it goes through to 7:30pm on the Friday
Daicos will end up at Tasmania. His story arc has a lot of Gary Ablett about it.
The son of a club legend. Won a premiership. Brownlow obsession. Best and fairest grievances. Coach frustrations.
New club enters the scene with huge money just as it appears current side about to fall over (incorrect in Gary’s case as it turned out).
I can see him taking the 2m sign on bonus.

Would think this is a reference to actually going "home" to Victoria - he's from Moe(t Chandon)
Going though a dry spell mate
