I love how some people call them out
I love how defensive people then get about it
I love how other people come in and white knight for them

When the trade stuff is as dragged out and boring as always this stuff is the sustenance i need to survive trade period

I agree. Someone claims to be ITK; great. Maybe they are, maybe they aren’t - getting upset with it is just pissing in the wind

Yep, as is being "ITK" and getting defensive when called out, you are very unlikely to change the view of a random person on the internet.

That said it all adds to the magic for me, so I hope it never stops

As someone ITK on very specific things, it's not that hard. Indicate the source and reveal in a way which isn't a tease but something concrete.

More than happy to share that my two sources (1) work at the AFL full time and (2) work at the MCG full time and both are witness to comings and goings. It's all part of the real world to share stuff which is going to get out anyway. So when King got appointed, I told the Demons board straight away.

I guess it doesn't add much mystery though.

St Kilda now hold draft picks 49, 65, 84.. after straight swapping #7 for Ned Flanders.

I just reckon behind the scenes they'd be very keen to get something for Roma.

Nah they want to trade out of this draft as a lot of clubs do. They want our future 1st for him (which they wont get).

Flanders $$$ a lot less than reported. He is a gun when played in the midfield. Pick 7 in this terrible draft is ok.

TDK - thoughts are the change in ruck rules will suit him and he can be one of the most effective players in the league. You need to look at this as a whole. TDK, Ryan and FR1 pick in, out Marshall and loss of salary cap space.

NAS - this is fine. None of the SA based clubs had anything worth offering. Signing him to this contract let's them revisit when they can extract more value. Plus the blokes a gun

Aleer - money is much less than reported and will cost peanuts in draft picks. This is a 50/50. What makes it bad is him and SOS play the same position

SOS - this one is very questionable at best. Ok role player but salary is big and he always seems injuries. Think this is a bad decision with both aleer and SOS they only needed one.

Wilkie - this one is fine. Will be captain next year

Ryan - 2nd round pick is a weak draft is ok value. Ryan is much better in a well performing team.

Windhager - payed market value. Good developing player they would want to keep.

Where are they getting a future 1st from? It also ignores that marshall is better than tdk anyway. Some of the rest i agree on.

Been told lots of stuff.

Mackie/Wells would know where that actually stands and if they think/know we need certain assets for that guy... rest assured, we wouldn't be trading said assets away.

Best approach is assume it is Wednesday and set your alarm for about 5.00 pm next Wednesday.

If we trade our R1 this year …will we be able to trade out our R1 next year. 2 in 4 would suggest no.

To be fair, all the Pies and Hawks links are just that they are interested in him. It says nothing about Zak.

The only one who is ever linked to being his preference in the media is the Dogs, and I'd assume at this point that's where it stands.
